What Causes Weight Loss When Having Glycomet And Bifilac For Diabetes?

I am a diabetic patient.my doctor advise me to take glycomet 500mg and bifilac capsules both twice a day.i feel like tht since I am taking bifilac I am experiencing weight loss.
Is it appropriate to take both medicine together??does it have any side effects??

Hello,
GLYCOMET is metformin and this can result in weightloss.
Other reason could be uncontrolled diabetes which also leads to weightloss.
In any case some weighloss is good as it reduces insulin resistance and controls the blood sugar levels better.
You can take both the medicines.
