Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
He has lung cancer with stage 4. So severe weight loss and more sleep is very common. Treatment will not help you much. Despite of any treatment prognosis remains poor. Life expectancy is not good. According to my opinion he should take symptomatic treatment only. Consult your doctor and plan accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
