What Causes Weird Drainage On Using Peroxide In Ear?

A small weird chunk came out of my ear after I put peroxide inside of it. It was brownish. I put the peroxide in my ear because I couldn t hear very well, and I was told it would help clear up the infection, and it seemed to have helped. Can you tell me what it might ve been that came out of my ear?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It can be due to dissolved wax and epithelium of the ear canal. If symptoms persists better to consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated.

In that case an otoscopic examination is also required to rule out possible causes like ear drun perforation must be ruled out.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain
