What Causes Weird Sensation In An Alcoholic?

My husband is a heavy drinker. In the last hour or so, he has started "feeling weird", seeing funny colors, he acts like he drank a fifth of whiskey, but has only had a few beers. Is there any kind of problem like a stroke, aneurism, food poisoning etc, that could cause this?

it might be because of ethanol over dose ..... if not stopped here after it might go for ethanol poisoning which s serious condition ....there might be chance of consuming some weed which gives weird feeling along with alcohol
