What Causes Wet Cough After Treating Fever And Body Pain?

hi sir , i m suffering from wet cough from last 4-5 days . i have taken syrup( bromhexin , terbutalin n guanphensin) but till date not cure. sir before this i suffered from fever , body pain that time i was taken cefixime, and paracetamol n nimesulide combination . today only cough is there, so please prescribe me proper medication. thanking you.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Wet cough implies cough accompanied with sputum production.
Sputum production indicates persistence of lower respiratory tract infection.
A history of intake of antibiotics-cefixime and fever suggests that you were suffering from infection.
Accompanying sputum which is yellow or green in colour suggests that the infection is still persisting and antibiotic course may have to be continued.
However, if the sputum is thin and watery, then it infection has cleared away and the thin watery fluid will also clear away.
