Back Lung Doctor April 13 he says it s pneumonia asks me what should he do I still have amoxicillin until Monday April 17 I tell him I need steroids so he gives me some I tell him take me off work for week? Now I have a very painful sore throat which I didn t have before
you are suffering from probably a secondary lung infection after an episode of allergic bronchitis. the antibiotic needs to be taken for a week atleast. amoxycillin along with clauvalamic acid would have been more effective for a deep seated pneumonia. montair lc once a day as an antiallergic to be added. also acocontin as a mucolytic will help. instead of an oral steroid for the anti-inflammatory action use a nebulizer with budecort or duolin thrice a day. deep breathing exercises or brisk walking will make your lung capacity better. edinase ds for your sore throat will be perfect
