What Causes White And Red Dots On The Tongue With Cough And Cold?
Hello. About a week ago i got a pretty bad cold. I ve been taking a lot of over the counter meds. I ve also been using a lot of cough drops. The last few day i noticed that my tongue is white in some areas, has small red dots, and is a little bit sore. I m attaching a picture. Is this common with a bad cold? Or possibly from using a lot of cough drops. Thank you for the help.

The type of a tongue you have developed looks to be due to thrush, meaning fungal infection.
Consult a Doctor, get blood investigations including blood sugar done.
You have to start oral antifungal medicines under Doctor's prescription and oral application of anti-fungal solution. You have to add multivitamins too .
