What Causes White Bumps Around Anus

My husband had a physical today and mentioned some white bumps around his anus to his doctor. I was thinking HPV, but the doctor said that is could be associated with his liver and that a blood test will help determine if there is a problem with his liver. I m having a hard time finding a link between the two online and potential courses of treatment. My husband is 30, active runner, does have apx 4 beers after work 4-5 days a week.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello,

As per your case history, your husband is having either furuncles or warts.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like Fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
3. Take an NSAID like ibuprofen for 5-7 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, cauterization or laser ablation done by a dermatologist after perfect diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshit Bhachech
