What Causes White Coating On Tongue When Going Through Chemo Therapy?

We have a dental patient who is going through chemo therapy and has developed a beige/white coating on her tongue that makes everything taste horrible. She does not have any sores in her mouth. Can you recommend something to help her. She is currently using Biotene Mouthrinse.

thanks for your query, i have gone through your query, the white coating could be a fungal infection secondary to drugs which you are taking...or it can be hairy leukoplakia...consult a oral physician for complete examination..you can do a proper thorough tongue brushing and antifungal agents... i hope my answer will help you.. take care..
