What Causes White Discharge, redness In The Clitoris?

I think I have a UTI or yeast infection maybe vulvovaginitis. I have a small amount of milky white discharge, my labia was a little swollen but has gone down now, and I have redness around the clitoris area and that area is tender. Also my vaginal area is a bit itchy.

Hi

Yes,your symptoms are likely to be caused by a vaginal yeast infection also known as candidiasis. Curdy white discharge is typical of yeast infections.

You should take oral and topical anti-fungal drugs to reduce the infection.Adequate hydration and proper vaginal hygiene is essential.

Repeated fungal infections can indicate lowered body immunity. Diabetes is one such cause of fungal infections.Hence kindly check your blood sugar levels both fasting and post prandial.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards
