Hi,

Vaginal discharge which is thick white or foul smelling may indicate candidiasis or bacterial infections. You may require a course of antibiotics to reduce the symptoms. Vaginal smear,Sexually transmitted infection screening and pelvic ultrasound should be done to rule out vaginal and pelvic infections. In case of vaginal infections, both the partners may have to be treated simultaneously.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
