What Causes White Discoloration Of Skin On Fingers?
My question. I was recently diagnosed with dermatitis. Will be referred to dermatologist soon. What causes the skin on the back of my fingers to turn white when they get wet . This makes makes the skin peel also. There is no itching or pain associated with the peeling of the skin.

You seem to have developed an eczema over the hands.
This type of skin problem tends to increase on exposure to detergents or other such agents.
You might need regular treatment with antihistamines and topical steroid lotions for which you should see a dermatologist
