What Causes White Discoloration Of Vaginal Opening?

I lost my virginity 2 days ago, and it was unbelievably painful despite me not having a hymen intact. I understand it was due to being tense and stretched for the first time, but since then the entrance to my vagina is white (not discharge, spots or patches, just the tissue that was red is now white). I tried with my partner again yesterday and today it is white again. We used condoms, lubricant and I am on the pill. I have no history of thrush or any other vaginal infection. Should I be worried?
