What Causes White Discolouration On Lips?
My lower bottom lip is turning white and I don t know what it is and I m very young for this sort of thing to happen but I don t know if I m sick or something I ate or maybe it just happened all of a sudden it happened a couple minutes ago my lip was fine then I was eating a pickle and my lip turned white when I looked at it I tried rubbing it off and surf but I have a feeling it s not something I ate I think I m sick or something

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of white discolouration on lips which could be due to mucosal vitiligo, excessive dehydration, allergic reaction and chemical leucoderma. Need not to worry much. Take diet rich in nutrients. Avoid pricking or biting lips as it will exaggerate your symptoms. I would suggest you to apply topical immunomodulator such tacrolimus ointment, twice daily during day time. Drink plenty of water. You should visit dermatologist once and get it examined. Go for biopsy of white patches to find exact cause and start treatment accordingly. You should use topical steroid such as Mometasone furoate as well at night time. Keep lips moisturized.
