What Causes White Fluid Discharge From Anus While Passing Stool?
When I go to the bathroom for a bowel movement, after I get off the toilet and pull up my pants, a milky color comes out followed by a clear substance. I clean it up and good until my next movement. Also when I wake up I have a dry shiny spot the size of a dime in my shorts. I have recently started taking antidepressants Sertraline. I have been check twice for Std. One blood and pee test and 2 swabs. I also had the fluid on one swab. They came back negative. I am also 41 years old and never had this problem

1. Problems in rectum or anus- they include 90% cases of discharge from anus. These include proctitis(inflammation of the anal canal and the last portion of the rectum), anal fissure (a tear in intestine) , perianal warts & a rupture perianal abcess.
2. Other less common causes include sexually transmitted diseases ( syphilis, rectal gonorrhea, chlamydia etc) irritable bowel syndrome(IBS), anal fistulae, colorectal cancer, etc. A intestinal parasitic infection can also cause discharge
So you should visit a gastroenterologist. A colonoscopy is advised to ruleout possibility of colon cancer.
