What Causes White Patches On Genital Area?

I just turned to 20 bt at the age of 16 I found white patches on my skin especially in genital area,at initially it was negligible but with the passage of time it got increased and in recent time its now found in other parts of the body like hands,feet,legs etc,,,Many doctors told me that this is due to calcium deficiency,,,please help me to find out the basic cause of this skin problem and what are the treatment rules for this in order to get rid of these patches as mentioned above.... I have gone through your question and understand your concern. The symptoms appear to be that of Vitiligo a chronic skin disease caused due to destruction of pigment cells. The age predilection for the condition is twenties and the presentation is presence of white patches on the skin and sometimes even mucous membrane are also involved. It usually initiates from a muco-cutaneous junction like genitals, near mouth, nostrils and eye area.
Consider seeing a dermatologist at the earliest, fortunately a lot of medical treatments in recent years made it easy to treat the condition. Good luck.
