Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain white patches inside your mouth with a history of
smoking as well as chewing habit of the inner cheeks and lips..
It can be due to causes like
Frictional keratosis that occurs due to chronic irritation to the mucosa leading to overproduction of keratin over the mucosa as a protective phenomena to prevent damage to mucosa with the friction and chemicals..
Other reason can be a pre cancerous condition known as
Leukoplakia thats also over production of Keratin but there is also disturbance in cells known as cell
dysplasia..
I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a clinical evaluation and investigations like Biopsy [if needed for confirmation]can be done for diagnosis..
In case if it is due to Frictional Keratosis it will get resolved on its own once the habit of chewing/biting the lips and cheeks is stopped and mouthguards can be given to prevent biting..
In case of Leukoplakia you can be advised Multivitamins and anti oxidants like
Lycopene for atleast 2 to 3 months..
Smoking habit has to be completely stopped..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
