What Causes White Patches On Swollen Throat?
We ll my throat has been sore, swollen, and covered in white patches for over a month now. It s not strep and it s not staph I was tested and given medicine for both. the medicine didn t work. It is worse now then it was before they put me on the medicine. I finished the medicine a week ago, but they won t give me anything else. Any ideas, please it hurts to swallow even water.

There can be many reasons for the patches including fungal infection and blood disorders , since it is already a month ,, you need to be evaluated completely and will need some tests , please meet your ent doctor , he will examine you and guide you further.
