What Causes White Skin In Mouth?
Hi.. Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC.. I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns.. As per your complain a white line extending on both side of the mouth and is lying above the molars of the lower jaw seems to be Linea Alba.. It is bilateral and a harmless and painless occurs secondary to some irritation with teeth, trauma etc.. Due to excessive irritation the mucosa produces excess of keratin as a part of protective phenomena leading to formation a white elevated line.. It is not at all harmful and lies at the biting line of the upper and lower teeth.. As it is asymptomatic no treatment is required.. Hope this information helps.. Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
