What Causes White Spot On Cheek Oozing White Discharge?
Hi, suffered acne for nearly 20yrs now but recently have this thick white chalky spot on my check that after a while it pushes some of the chalky discharge out but it just keeps filling up & never goes away. I know it s going to be a huge scar as the pore had now been open for months now.
Hello, Thanks for the query. You might be suffering from folluculitis. Folliculitis is a bacterial infections. Treatment is with antibiotics but the choice of antibiotics should be based on culture and sensitivity tests. Please meet a dermatologist and request to do culture and sensitivity test on pus obtained from the lesion for exact diagnosis. Once the exact bacteria is known, specific treatment can be given. Improper use of antibiotic can lead to resistance. Let me know if you have any other doubt. you can ask a direct question to me on this forum, following the below link. http://www.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-rahul-kumar/64818 Wishing you a good health.
