What Causes White Spot On Right Cornea?

my 3 year old daughter have this white, round spot at her left eye cornea, not really exactly in the middle part. two eye speacialist said it was an old scar, which might occur due to various reasons. she didn't feel any pain, and still can see from that eye. no medication was given, but the doctor advice me to consult a cornea speacialist for kids in mid valley, malaysia. will it affect my daughter's eyesight if i just leave it like that. tq

A scar on the cornea will look like a white spot, color varies with amount of scar density. If that spot is not in center( that is away from visual axis) then vision can be normal with or without glasses. can worsen if it is scar after viral infection.
