What Causes White Spot On The Uvula Along With Difficulty In Swallowing?

I've been experiencing a lot of pain when swallowing the past two days, there are these pinkish-orange patches on the back of my throat, and a white spot on the bottom of my uvula. I got tested for strep and the result was negative, but I didn't notice the patches until the day after seeing a doctor. I didn't really get a diagnosis, and the patches are raising further concern. What could this be?

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that you are suffering from Granular Pharyngitis leading to pinkish orange spots on the throat and UVULITIS leading to white spots on uvula..
You should start taking a course of antibiotics like Augmentin or Azithromycin, anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen..
Do warm saline gargles atleast 3 to 4 times a day..
Do steam inhalation and use a humidifier in your room..
Suck throat lozenges and chew a Vitamin C pellet daily.
Avoid spicy and chilled foods and drink plenty of warm water..
Take a soft and bland diet..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
