What Causes White Stain On Penis Of A Child?

my 5 year old son has peed the bed twice in the last four days and when i changed his underwear he had a white stain in the front where his penis would be. i took him to the doctors and they told me it could be to much protein in his urine. Could it be something else?

But from the look and feel of it, the white deposit could be protein. The protein and minerals (including salt) comes out of urine, creates a whitish remnant when the liquid base dries up. That could be the white stain.
