What Causes White String Like Discharge In Urine?

I too have been getting these stringy white like substances in my urine. Some can be very small and some can be 4 or 5 in length. A few years ago I was diagnosed from a world renoun parisitogist, Dr. Amin, out of AZ, with something as rare as he had ever seen. Blastocyst Hominus or parasites in my urine. Could this have any relation or be some type of parasite?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear thanks for the question.

I share your concerns as it is scary to see white strings in urine. But since you do not have additional symptoms (like fever, burning sensation while passing urine, abdominal pain) it appears to be deposits in urine which are not so dangerous. It is natural to shed degenerated cells through urine.

However still you can visit an urologist to rule out any serious matter (if any). You can get your urine examined for routine and microscopic examination along with culture and sensitivity test to come to a diagnosis.

I wish you good health.
