What Causes White Tissue Growth After A Metal Implant To Remove Molar Tooth?

I had oral surgery a week ago to remove a molar and have a metal implant inserted. I still have numerous black stitches to be removed in 2 weeks. Under the stitches, a bright white layer of tissue has formed. Is this normal scar tissue, or a sign of infection?

Hi
This isn't scar tissue and it may well indicate an infection so you need to let your doctor know right away
