What Causes White Vaginal Discharge Along With Painful Urination Post Intercourse?

I m not sure if it s a yeast infection or a STD. My boyfriend ate me out for the first time (he s the first guy I ve ever been sexual with) and a few days later I was having white discharge, burning of the vagina, pain while peeing, abdominal pain, nipple pain, and itch and swollen vagina. I used monistat for three days and it went away a little but than came back. My boyfriend said its just a yeast infection but I m worried. I m only 18, in scared it s serious. What do I do?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You should get evaluated. Do an urine analysis and vaginal smear. I think it can be an urinary tract infection and a vaginal infection too.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
