What Causes Whiteheads All Over The Body?

My son has whiteheads appearing all over his body and has for months now. They are red on the outer part and very sore sometimes. The whitehead pops and the red area takes ages to go away. He can get 4-5 a day sometimes. I dot have animals so don't think it's fleas. Thought it could be dust mites so bought a plastic sheet to cover his mattress. Could he be to do with his heart? He ha repaired AVSD?

these are known as head lice .They are highly contagious so precaution is to betaken so it does not spread to other member of family. Prescription drug like lindane malathion are available which can be applied all over mixed with turpentine. Lice preventing shampoo are also available. bed heet pillow cover and dresses are to be cleaned daily and dried in sun. combs and towel are not to be shared.
