What Causes Whitish Discoloration Of Nipples?

Hi, I am not sure if I am pregnant or not. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex about two weeks ago the day after I ended my period. I realized today in the shower that the tips of my nipples have turned white. I have been stressing out about this and was just wondering if this was a sign of pregnancy?

Hi

White spots on the nipples and areolas are not a cause for concern on most occasions. White spots often result from a blocked nipple pore or as a normal reaction to changing levels of hormones within the body.

Visit your doctor if any of the following symptoms are present

you have discharge from your nipple that isn’t breast milk
your nipple is turned inward (inverted) or flattened
you feel a lump in your breast
you’re running a fever
your nipple looks scaly or crusted

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards
