What Causes Whitishness Of Nasal Septum During Allergic Cold?
I ve had a stuffy nose for almost 3 weeks now. Recently it has been getting worse with sore throat, cough and puffy watery eyes. I ve been taking allergy medication but that hasn t worked. I ve tried Neti pots, humidifiers, warm pressure on my nose, massage my nostrils and have been take immune support vitamin capsules as well as tea and staying hidrated. Nothing works. Recently I ve been looking up my nose because my mucus has been bloody and i noticed blood as well as white little bumps on my clogged nostril while the other one was clear. Today I looked again and the inner wall inside my nose was almost completely white and yellowish with blood. Should I see a doctor or is normal during a cold for it to look that way?
Whitish and yellowish discharge in nasal cavity is probably due to allergic cold. I suggest you to consult your ENT specialist for clinical assessment and management of allergic cold.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
