What Causes Whole Body Itching With Lightheadedness, Syncope, Nausea And Vomiting?

I started itching for no reason. It started at my feet first, then scalp and then all over the body. It s been 4 days now. I also got lightheaded and almost felt faint but that was just one time. On the 4th day I felt nauseated and vomited after I ate a meal, then passed a loose stool. What could be the underlying cause of all this?

hi. I have read your question and understand your concern.

itching all over body associated with lightheadedness could be due to urticaria. there are many causes for urticaria but in your case gastroenteritis seems to be the cause (nausea, vomiting & loose stool). u might have acquired some infection somewhere.

I suggest you see your physician and get treated for your gastroenteritis. you will need a course of antibiotics like tab norflox-tz for a week.

you can also get stool culture sensitivity done. this will confirm the type of infection.

once you get treated your urticaria will go in some time. meanwhile you can ask your doctor to prescribe antihistamines like tab atarax 25 mg thrice daily to alleviate itching.
