What Causes Worm Infected Sore On The Sole?

I have a sore on the bottom of my foot, I thought it was a splinter, but once the scap was removed I started to see little worms and such. I pulled one and it hurt a little then when I got the whole thing out it bled a lot. there was a bunch of little ones too, what could this be? Parasite infestation?

I really appreciate your concern, this could be subcutaneous worm such disease is very rare here Filariasis need to be ruled out, better to see the doctor for clinical examination it may need some blood test and wound side need to be explore for any larvea deposition and for differential diagnosis, hope this information helps, take care.
