What Causes Worsening Yeast Infection Despite Taking Medication?
diabetic, high blood pres., stoke, and I take medicines for all. I have constant yeast infentions, that are bad. I have big infections sites all over my vagina. very painful that has produced blood. I have been to the doctor and haven t had much relief. antibiotics and yeast infections pills, it goes away but it back it two weeks.
Hi, I would like to stress on two important things apart from medication that would be helpful in controlling yeast infections 1) Good control of blood glucose levels. Increased glucose levels contribute to increased risk of yeast infections. 2) Maintainence of high standards of hygiene. A humid environment provides ample growth opportunities for yeast. A clean and dry affected area is of utmost importance. So, take the medications as directed by your physician. Have a regular follow up with regard to your diabetes and maintain hygiene to avoid recurrence. Hope the above information helps you. Thank you very much.
