What Causes Wound To Become Dry, Itchy And Inflamed?

I cut my hand along time ago opening a milk bottle and the cut got dry then spread slightly, it was inflamed dry and itchy, it healed with just a little bit left after about 8 months, if i cover it gets worse or if my hand goes near any cleaning products. Then i was walking along time my foot got a slight cut and the same thing happened it got sore ithcy inflamed and red spread slightly and a little underneath the foot, if i wear socks it gets very dry and sore. There is no yellowness of the skin and no smell, but sometimes looks bluesh if i use mosturiser or betnovate cream. im 21 years old, im 160lb and have lost 57lb in the last 1.5 years. Also i have had alot of stress incase either of these could be the cause.
