What Causes Wrist Pain On Applying Pressure?

I fell pretty hard on my wrist a couple of months back, and it is still pretty painful. It seems to be especially painful when I apply pressure (such as pushing up with the hand). I am just curious as to what this could be, seeing that the injury happened in mid-late December.

Dear thanks for the question. Welcome to hcm.

You should have mentioned about the treatment taken. Like investigations done to identify the cause. It could be a fracture, which might have been missed. The fracture have healed in wrong way now. In that case get s x ray now.

If x ray shows mal aligned fracture, then surgical correction is the only option now, meet an orthopaedic expert. If there is no fracture then meet a physiotherapist .

I hope my reply will benefit you. Please write to hcm for follow up queries. Hit a thanks. Thank you. I wish you good health.
