What Causes Yellow Discharge During Periods?

I had an abortion about three weeks ago, had my check-up this past Tuesday and my doctor said everything looked normal. On Friday, however, after having intercourse with my fiance, I had faint yellow discharge in clots about the size of a nickel. I found about three, but after that they stopped. Then the same thing happened again tonight. My discharge has never looked this way or come in clots, but I'm not having symptoms of any other sort to signal an infection. Is what I'm experiencing normal, or should I get it checked out?

do you have yellowish, foul smelling vaginal discharge?
is it associated with fever?
definitely you should consult gynaecologist for local examination.
if the discharge is without any other symptoms then don't worry wait for 7-8 days if persistent then consult gynaecologist.
