What Causes Yellow Discoloration On The Skin After Taking A Laxative?

My daughter is 17 and cannot poop for several days. She took a laxative and now her skin is turning yellow and her fingers are developing white blisters. She is also loosing weight and having back pains. We need help. We ve been to the Drs n hospitals but every test comes back normal. However she hasn t been able to have her stool tested yet. She is going back to the Drs tomorrow for the constipation

It could be a transient response to pigments.

Better to avoid the particular laxative.
