What Causes Yellow Film On Whites Of Eye?

Yellow film on the whites of my eyes
Hello, I am a 39 year old female. Who at the age of 28 was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, Since then I have had premature ovarian failure, ulcerative colitis, lots of joint paint. However the thing that plagues me most is a yellowish film on the whites of my eyes. I can move it around, and it just looks like an abnormal growth. It is affecting both eyes, causes a lot of discharge, my eyes are constantly watering, & it's as if I have sand paper in my eyes. Any help and or suggestions is greatly appreciated
