I am 50 years old I went to the dr today cause my left ear has been clogged I have been using prescribed ear drops and on allergy pills for 2 months I can t take the discomfort I was told that I have yellow flud behind the eardrum can you please tell me 2what to expect at the e.n.t. doctors office

You seem to be having a condition called as secretory/serous otitis media , which is characterized by collection of fluid behind the ear drum. Allergy pills will help dry the fluid and are useful , If you are still having discomfort , then your doctor may ask you to undergo a small surgery called as myringotomy and grommet insertion, this will give good relief.
