What Causes Yellow Nasal Discharge?
I had a cold last week, started with the throat sore, then mucus discharge on my nose and finally phlegm from dark yellow and hard consistency to soft transparent. Now that is gone, but every time I lower my head a bright yellow liquid comes out, is like a nose bleed but yellow. No fever or pains.

I had gone through your question.
This could be secondary to sinus infection.
I recommend the following.
1) A course of antibiotics preferably levofloxacin.
2) Steam inhalation to promote sinus ventilation and drainage.
3) An antihistaminic at night.
