What Causes Yellow/orange Blotches All Over The Feet?

Hi, my boyfriend woke up with yellow/orange blotches all over this feet about 1-3mm wide. They do not change colour or anything when under pressure and cause no pain or swelling. He is 18 years of age and worried as this has never happened. What could it be?

Hello,

As per your description it appears to be simple chemical induced blotches. This can happen due to certain dyes in the socks or shoes or on walking bare foot at floor with certain chemicals.

I do see such kind of cases especially after bating in swimming pool due to certain chemical in the pool and in the tubs before going to the pool. This may be due to chlorine in the water or potassium permagnate in the tubs.

AS these are asymptomatic so you should not be worried and just keep a watch over the area.

All the best.
