What Causes Yellow Seepage From The Swollen Ankles And Calves?

My grandmother (92 yrs) has developed swelling in her ankles and lower shins, but it is most pronounced in her right leg. Suddenly yesterday, her get started seeping fluid, a clear -yellowish, almost like when a blister is popped. There are no blisters evident on her legs. I m concerned about whether I should seek immediate medical attention, or if it can wait to see her GP?

Hello,
If she has very swollen ankles then the swelling can push fluid out and it would appear as a yellowish fluid. If there is any redness, it could be infection and she would need to be seen right away. Also if she has other symptoms like chest pain or shortness of breath, she should be seen right away
