What Causes Yellow Stool After Taking Metronidazole And Cefalexin?

Hello, I m taking metronidazole and cefalexin for a possible infection after a surgical miscarriage, following a silent miscarriage. Today and yesterday my stools have been very pale in colour, almost yellow. Should I go back to my doctor to talk about this, or is it normal?! Thank you, Alexandra

Hi,

Its quite normal. Drugs can cause a change in color of stools sometimes instantly or after a span of time. You can take excess of water and fibrous food. Also a liver tonic can help in overall metabolism correction. You can also take more meat soup for that matter.
