Hi
I've gone through your query and I understand quite well your concern
Based on what you referred to me, your son has experienced a traumatic
injury that has affected the
urinary tract and maybe its organs or his male genitalia.
These organs can be damaged along with other internal organs when someone suffers massive multi-systems trauma from auto accidents. The external genitalia and the
urethra can also be damaged with site-specific trauma that can be fairly minor.
As a result of this trauma, his urine has turned in a darker yellow colour cause of the presence of blood in it called
hematuria. Hematuria can result from injury anywhere along the genito-urinary tract and multiple urologic injuries can coexist. The mechanism, location and severity of this trauma lead to the need and the type of further diagnostic evaluation or therapeutic intervention.
You should consult immediately consult an
urologist and your son should perform diagnostic imaging : an abdominal-pelvic CT first to evaluate which part of the genito-urinary tract is damaged.
Hope this is helpful to you,
