What Causes Yellow Vaginal Discharge After Cervical Cauterization?

Hi, Im Lauren, I had the cauterization done 2 weeks ago and have not experienced any pain following the procedure. I had a watery, yellow discharge last week (which I believe to be normal) however this week the discharge has been bloody and every day the blood is darker (or heavier). I have also been experiencing light cramping today.

Is this normal?

I thought i would have been more likely to experience bleeding and cramping in the first week...and so so much in the second?
