What Causes Yellow Vaginal Discharge While On Depo Shots?

I took the depo provera shot 3 months ago and today is my date to get the next shot. i havent had my period or anything but i noticed the past 2 weeks ive been getting a light yellow discharge. i dont know what it is but i was thinking maybe its because the shot is wearing off? please help
