What Causes Yellowish Colored Skin After Miscarriage?

Hi I recently had a miscarriage and I have noticed in the morning my skin has a yellow look as do the corner of the whites of my eyes, my appetite is greatly increased and I feel tierd. Do you think I should go for a blood test from my GP as my partner and I want to start trying for another baby? Clare

Hi,

Yellowish discoloring of skin, sclera and urine indicate jaundice . you should get fully evaluated by checking for bilirubin in your blood also check for viral hepatitis and take treatment accordingly. Your GP can guide you with the blood test, but you may also need an opinion from a hepatologist depending on findings of the blood results.

Get these done done before embarking on the pregnancy.

Hope this helps.
