What Causes Yellowish Discharge Through Nipples Before Menstruation?

Hi! Im a mother of two and my youngest daughter is 21 mos.. I was wondering why i have an oily yellowish white diacherge on my breast especially before having period and during shower? Is it possible that im still lactating? I only breastfeed my daughter for 6 mos only.. Please answer

Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Discharge from the nipples, of yellow colour, 12 months after the breastfeeding is stopped is unlikely due to lactation.
Breast secretion is also increased in hormonal disturbances like increased prolactin levels.
I will suggest you to get your prolactin levels done and get further management accordingly.
