What Causes Yellowish Discharges?

Hi. I had sex 3 days ago and now have a smelly, watery yellowish discharge with yellow clupms. There is also itching, which i first thought was just abrasion from the friction but now that it is accompanied by the discharge, its gotten me worried. I took Norlevo the same day. Could this be an STI or a side effect of Norlevo?

Hi,

It usually happens after having sex. In some case may be due to a side effect of medication (not to worry). You need to keep proper perineal hygiene after having sex. Should wash the perineal area with V-wash every time you go to washroom until the symptoms subside, and mandatory soon after having sex as I believe you are having a sensitive perineal part.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Naira Jahangir, OB and GYN Specialist
