Hi there, I am currently expieriencing dierhea, leg and feet cramping and i have just noticed that my eyes have a yellow tinge. I work in a hospital and wondered if it could be just a flu bug. My real cause of concern was my eyes. I am 49 years old
The diarrhea causes loss of electrolytes and so the muscle cramping. Take an ORS (oral rehydration solution) in powder or liquid form, at least 1 L to be consumed each day.
As for the yellowish coloration of your eyes, this shows a possible association with your hepatobikiary tract. Hepatitis E is most likely as it is associated with faeco-oral transmission. Please consult a doctor at the earliest.
Best wishes.
