What Causes Yellowish Vaginal Discharge?

I'm only a sophomore in high school and I didn't get my period yet. I know I'm a late bloomer but lately my vaginal discharge been becoming strange. Its been turning yellow to white and white to yellow. There's no signs of odor or strange texture. What does it mean when it's yellow but no strange features?
